Research on Healthy Chocolate

Many new studies are published each month confirming the health benefits of pure chocolate.

Read about the health benefits from Dr. Steven Warren, M.D., D.P.A.

Unfortunately, ordinary dark chocolates and chocolate bars are unhealthy because they contain too much added wax, sugar and fat that spoil the nutritional value of the cocoa. They have also been cooked at very high temperatures that destroy the antioxidants and other nutrients contained in the cocoa.

Even dark chocolates that claim to have 70% or 80% pure dark chocolate don't have many health benefits because the cooking process has destroyed most of the nutrients.

White chocolate has no real health benefits because it is not made with cocoa.

Only Xocai dark chocolates are made with a unique, patented cold-pressing process that protects the nutritional value of the cocoa. Xocai chocolates are also made with the Acai berry, which grows in the Amazon, and which is very rich in antioxidants.

This one-two punch of pure chocolate and Acai yields a potent nutritional supplement. And it's very delicious!

Moderation is key

Like all foods, Xocai chocolates contain calories. Consequently, if you "pork out" on Xocai, you will probably gain weight.

The key is to replace your current consumption of unhealthy chocolates or other sweets with healthy Xocai chocolates, leaving your calorie intake unchanged.

The recommended serving for Nuggets or Power Squares is three per day. For Omega Bars, the recommended serving is one bar per day.

Diabetics should only eat the Power Squares, which are low in sugar. They should also limit their consumption to 2-3 Squares per day.
